Yes you are certainly charging way too little. My basic sites start at $500 and go up from there depending on what the client wants. Usually I charge it by the job and in some cases, there will be add on's and I usually charge $50-$75 per hour for that work. I have a few NPO's and for them I start my quotes to them at $300 for the job.
From the sounds of this guy you're dealing with, I would just move on and forget him. Finish whatever you've started and end it there.
Thanks again for the reply and the pricing advice. The MacRumors Design Forum is a very welcoming and supportive community. :)

Unless, of course, we decided to declare war on Australia while I was napping.
We could just add them to the list.
Seriously, the death penalty as instituted in the US is grossly economically inefficient. With all the automatic appeals and legal fees, the death penalty is nothing more than a subsidy for the legal profession.
Life without parole is the way to go. If "Life Without Parole" actually meant "Life Without Parole". Far cheaper to just house them, plus, if we did find out we made a mistake, we could give them at least a part of their life back.

There was talk if waterboarding providing some intell, but this is now in serious doubt.
Torture and inhumane treatment is unacceptable (even if you call it enhanced interrogation). The US should adopt something equivalent to Article 3 of the European Convention on Human Rights. It prohibits torture in ANY circumstance, it is an absolute right.
No matter the situation, even in the ticking bomb thought experiment, torture should not be used.

Actually,
there is a shipping Blu-Ray Drive from Sony right now (in reality, it's in the Vaio, the retail version, while out in SKU, ships the 1st week of August), which has a standard 5.25 form-factor and is below $1000.
Apple COULD make use of that if Sony ships in quantity, and to other manufacturers early on...
Uh, genius, Apple doesn't make Blu-ray. Apple has to wait for Sony & Co to release Blu-ray drives, which we all knew would be in late 2006.

I'm sure this data will be coming to a Keynote near you.
The trend is your friend, and unless Apple can turn it around, the trend is clearly moving toward a marginalization of iOS.
LOL. Marginalized. Maybe you forgot the smiley?
Let's see, largest mobile software store. Most profitable mobile software store (for developers). Most profitable mobile device.
Surely it's marginalized when the other companies are giving away their products for market share (and losing money in the same time).

for some reason I can't figure out how to have all documents of a certain type use the same icon, like all keynote files generated will use (insert icon.)
can someone help me out, or maybe there isn't a way to do this?
thanks in advance.

That's not how civilization works. What happens is that a superior country will immigrate people from external inferior lands where necessary. Much, as you can imagine, to take over the "low end" jobs to support the "high end" workers. An early version of this is known as "slavery". Today, we just give immigrants low wages and more "freedom" albeit they still mop the floor so the CEO doesn't slip.
It's also consistent with the idea of importing "strong slaves". Those migrant workers are often the hard workers and upper teir of thier former civilization. Because...those are the ones who make the trip and are productive enough to be allowed to stay without being weeded out.
Later, when these "strong slaves" reproduce, it provides the country with strong genetic stock for future workers, whom some will break away from the lower classes. It doesn't matter if they are not part of the "2.1 whites". As a matter of fact, many 2.1 white rednecks trickle to the lower classes, just as super strong immigrates get to invent some of our greatest weapons.
Furthurmore, as technology advances, "manpower" is compensated by "brainpower". Before the steam engine cycle was invented, it would take like 100 slaves to get the boat of wheat accross the ocean. Now it takes maybe one or a couple of engineers...to play cards...until something breaks.
One really talented engineer can't support two elderly people who demand a high quality of life, and do you realize what massive immigration to Europe is going to do? It will break their culture.

Ok apparently there are different Applications provided from Hamachi. You just have to pick the right one.
Why do they even write different applications and not an all-in-one one ?

Then you cannot display the "highest" resolution version of the media. Either none, or a resolution crippled version (ie 480p vs 1080i).

Haha oh dear. More fool the buyers for not reading the description. ALWAYS read the description for bidding/buying on eBay. But it is quite obvious the seller was out to deceive.

To be honest, it's only another iPhone rumor to add to the mix. The idea that Apple is ploughing ahead with new models is nice, but let's wait for v1.0 first before we start speculating about 'new' features.
All this iPhone hype is a bit ridiculous. Remember that the iPhone, when and if it comes out, will be essentially identical to some current SonyEriccson phones, or even the LG Chocolate. Yes, it may have an apple logo on it, but it's almost certainly not going to be significantly new technology.

I'm from the UK, where capital punishement was abolished in 1969. Here in the UK we would love capital punishement to be reintroduced, a life for a life as they say. But it makes me wonder how someone can play god. Of course people who have murdered other people are kind of playing God, but in most cases, these attacks are not pre-planned, and really messy. Most murders are in defence or panic, also a lot of pre-planned. But someone playing God, deciding who lives and dies, I think it's kind of crazy sometimes. How can anyone be allowed to play god, how can 1 human, or 12 humans decide if another human dies in a controlled way. But I do agree that if you take a life, your life should be taken. But it still makes me think lots about it, I was in really deep thought about it a few nights ago. Here in the UK the law is fail, 2 years for killing someone. No common sense here in the UK.
