Your lawyer or any competent lawyer should be able to interfile your application. The lawyer has to write a letter to USCIS along with the original approval notice of the newly approved but older PD I140. As per today's EB2/EB3 PD scenario, interfile is the best option for you. Earlier PD transfers ruled when EB2 PD used to be ahead of EB3 PD. Now, EB2 PD is Unavailable. Again, get a competent lawyer who has extensive experience in this particular issue.

You applied at the right service center TSC. I also live in NC and applied on July 25th at TSC and got the Receipt notices.
Did you check the processing dates for TSC for I765? I think currently they are processing applications applied before April 16, 2008.
So dont worry.. But you may call TSC Service center for any status

am staying in US for d past 4 yrs ,have a H1 B visa. i want to invite my younger brother and mom for a ONE month visit to US.My mom has already got 10 yrs of visa as she visited dis place in 2008. My brother has just completed his engineering , is 21 yrs of age and has got placed in infosys.His joining date is in December, so would it be easy for him to get d visitors visa as even i want him to have some fun b4 starting off with his work life. Should he carry his offer letter with him and also would it b wise to book d ticket in advance and show them d return ticket as a proof just to tell them tat he will b back in a month and also would like to know the other questions which r expected. (b) Will they allow you to file I-485 before your visa number is available.
(c) How stable would be your job be in comming years
(d) What year of your H1 B are you in.
1) If you do not have a problem in H1b extension then.. new Perm Labor in 6 months... (a) I-140 in one month if premium ---- b) if they say no premium you have to wait, how long can't say)
1a) favourable ... 1b) -- ?????
2) If Eb numbers increase a) allow you to file I-485 to get EAD.
b) Eb num increases but no I-485 until date becomes current.
2a) will get you EAD, WIFE can get a job anywhere.. no travel problems and extensions.
2b -- opposite to 2a

Hi,
My CP interview has been sceduled at New Delhi consulate on Aug 26. I do not have any PCC (Police Clearance Certificate). can I get it in India from local Police station. I know it would be possible in India after giving Rs 100- 200. Anybody please give me the format of this certificate which I should ask them to prepare

Even local police personnel are well educated on why you are looking for police certificate and its value. Also if it is related to US Immigration, most of them have instructions on what to do.
So please be prepared to face it. If you end up doing what you have asked for, it will not be that much cheap.
A coffee in a Level 3 city costs Rs.25, A lunch costs Rs.60- Rs.100. Do you think a PCC can be obtained for Rs.100 - Rs.200 targeted towards US Immigration?
You will be surprised to see yourself counting every $ spending in India. Thats the reality now.
Basic Rule: Be patient on any treatment you receive if you want to get your job done. At this short time, do not send passport in mail/fedex/ups/usps to any place. Even if it is expensive, travel.

I received a Transfer notice today for both me and my wife suggesting that our I-485 petitions have been transferred to the local USCIS office. Below is the exact message.
Current Status: This case has been sent to another office for processing because it has jurisdiction over the case.

I have received the card with old number without any restriction in employment. Plain card with name and number. At the SSA office they told me the same. So feel free to get rid of last H1B bundle. (surrender old card for a new freedom card)
